Peonies, pearls and promises

It’s sad when people just fade out of your life.  I don’t know why it happens.  

I read a post somewhere about how they’re changing Dr. Who for the 50th anniversary.  They’re going to get rid of the classic blue police box because it’s “outdated”…  Fans (clearly not real fans) are asking for a more “street” version (whatever the fuck that means) and to sex things up (or you could just enjoy the story). 

It would have been great if they had told those particular “fans” (likely under the age of 20) to take a fucking hike and watch something else (have your pick of any of the million mediocre television shows dripping with sex that are currently taking over).  Can’t we keep some things classic around here?

EDIT: Alex just informed me that changing the exterior of the Tardis was an April Fools joke.  I’m not laughing.  Are you?
